あ まり知られてはいないがアルコールはタバ コ以上に発癌性が強い。
習慣的な飲酒は口腔癌、咽頭癌、食道癌、胃癌、肝臓癌、大腸癌、
乳癌の原因になる。
だが、このことをメディアが取り上げることはほとんどない。
有力スポンサーである酒造会社からの広告収入を失いたくないからだ。

アルコールはIARCによる発がん性リスク評価でGroup1（ヒトに対する
発癌性が認められる）に分類されている。
